How Alkaline Water Helps Your Body

Alkaline water cleans up free radicals, negating their reactiveness. It does this in the same way as other antioxidants but is far more effective and reaches all the tissues of the body faster.

The free radicals in our bodies are extremely reactive and can attach themselves to normal, healthy cells and damage them genetically. This can lead to problems such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, cancer, pancreatitis, diabetes, nephrisis and nephrosis.

That's just a start - other parts of the body are also vulnerable!

BioStone

As well as filtering out impurities, the Orion passes the water through 'BioStone' , a ceramic formed of the semi-precious mineral Tourmaline. This mineral is famous in the world of science because it can become electrically charged when they are heated and then allowed to cool, or when pressurized. It can emit far infrared energy (FIR) and changes the surface tension of the water, making it (a) easier to process for the ionizer and (b) beginning the negative ion creation process.

In practical terms it means you'll get better water by far, even with the "Purified Only" water, and you'll get more antioxidant effect with the alkalinized water.

And that's not all, Jupiter have also incorporated Coral Calcium in the filter. This assists ionization in cases of mineral deficient water such as tank water.
Calcium also has the ability to unite with sodium fluoride and convert it to calcium fluoride, a more benign form of fluoride. As Coral Calcium, it's also the ideal 2:1 mix ratio of calcium and magnesium with a host of essential trace minerals.

The pH Balance

Filter Life Indicator
The easy to read digital indicator tells you the remaining water filter life. Optimum performance is ensured by always changing your filter on time. In addition to the digital counter, a new indicator light will flicker when your current filter life is up, reminding you to change your filter
Design
Until now, all ionizers had a certain Asian sameness in their design.

Consistency
In the USA the water supply can vary a lot from state to state. Because of this difference in source water, different ionizers at the same alkaline settings will produce different alkaline levels.
Now in the new Jupiter Orion there is a patented SOL valve and triple diaphragms that adjusts the water flow automatically. This means that you now get the correct pH level no matter what your input water is, even if there is a change in your water pressure or flow rate.
Performance

MICOM Technology
